I just put The Goon Squad down for their afternoon nap. I decide I that am going to take a shower really quick because my coolest friend, Bridgette is taking me to the Bucs preseason game tonight, and I respect her enough not to smell really bad.
Anyway, I am trying to bathe quickly, because I never know if The Squad will actually nap or not – even though they asked to go “night night”. So, I’m getting undressed really fast, and I kick my underwear right into the toilet. Yep – right into the toilet.
Unbelievable.
This is not my proudest moment, but I thought I would share it anyway because it made me laugh – which might be part of the reason why they are still awake in there.
Kinda like you underwear getting sucked up into the attic!
I never thought of that before. Maybe it is something with the universe and my underwear.
I think I need an explanation about the attic issue.

Ah, yes, the attic.
When I lived in Ohio, we had one of those huge attic fans in the hall right outside my bedroom.
So, one day(I was maybe 10), I was going to the bathroom to put my underpants in the hamper. I was throwing them up in the air and catching them (again, I was ten years old) and one time the underpants never came back down.
I am still assuming they got sucked up in to the attic. They were never recovered.
Someday, someone in Ohio will be very freaked out to find a pair of girl panties in their attic.
