Wow. Things go from funny to not funny fast.
We shouldn’t laugh, but Typhoon Longwang? That is hilarious. (Thanks, Ritch)
Nah, it’s still kind of funny.
That's right. You heard me.

Nah, it’s still kind of funny.

I live in the Washington DC Metro Area with my husband, six year old boy/girl twins (aka The Goon Squad) and two loud cats. [Read More …]

Number of people in the world who speak English = ~2 billion. Number of people in the world who are going to giggle inappropriately when they hear the tragic news of Typhoon Longwang = ~2 billion. Seriously, were there no other names available. Can you imagine trying to convince people that they needed to evacuate their families from the path of Hurricane Asstickler? They wouldn’t be able to stop laughing long enough to pack. I hope these people are able to recover quickly from this tragic and embarrassing event.

Seriously. I feel terrible about it, but Longwang is a funny name. It just is.
i’d be too busy laughing to even remember to evacuate….i’d be dead…
just what time is Hurricane Asstickler supposed to be here?
I’ve got some decorative shaving to do……
I checked with the National Weather Service, but they don’t seem to have anything on Hurricane Asstickler. You probably won’t be directly in the path over on the Wang of America. Asstickler’s currently trajectory will lead it right up the middle. Still, decorative shaving might be a good idea. Asstickler will probably blow through the back country, but it could possibly reach around to you.
ahahaaaaaaa haaaaa haaaaaa
extra points for the back country comment
shame we just get silly typhoons on this coast
i hear asstickler will just slightly brush underneath the wang of north america, causing agitation along the coast. those kind are the worst, because of the friction that follows…
You know, it would not be much of a stretch to imagine that we have had or will have a Hurricane Richard, which of course would be Hurrican Dick, which could collide with the Wang of America, making both Dick and Wang go, “Eeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!”
WANG: “Hey, stop blowing your stuff all over me!”
DICK: “Well, get the hell out of the way–I’m trying to get into the Gulf!”
Eh. Never anthropomorphize weather and/or peninsulas. It really makes for sorry-ass comedy.
