Here Goes

I’ll be the one watching the football game (after the bye week) through my splayed fingers.

Oh, Dear God. Chris Simms is the Bucs starting quarterback. I hope the next six games surprise me as much as the first six did. I will not be holding my breath.

That being said, I still truly believe that feeling sick to your stomach is a big part of being a Bucs fan.

Good luck, Chris. I know you’ll need it.

  1. I’m a Jets fan. I know your pain. 😉 (I also have Brian Griese as my fantasy QB! :)

  2. I’ve been a Cowboys fan since I was about 10 years old. I know the sick feelings. I remember when we went something like 1-14 when Jerry Jones first bought the team and fired Tom Landry. It was like the world had ended or something. It was horrible. And then he got all these new coaches and players I didn’t even know who they were and started trying to put something together. It sucked at first, but it sure was something to see in the end.

You do realize Hell has frozen over, right? The Atlanta Braves won the World Series and the Tampa Bay Bucs won the Superbowl. It’s all over now. Nothing could possibly surprise anyone anymore.

  3. Rick Moranis just recorded a country album…surprise.

  4. Aw, crap. We’re getting the Rick Moranis album, aren’t we?

Next, you’ll be out buying Shooter Jennings cds.

  5. Hey, I heard that!

  6. Becky, it’s not my fault you love Shooter Jennings.

  7. Steve – Even the Vinny comeback? If he wins a Super Bowl that will surprise me.

  8. Frank Sucks says:

Forget Simms, you got Tim Rattay baby!

  9. as a embattled vikings fan, i don’t care who’s QB (although brad johnson is back). mostly, i fantasize of the return of bud grant. he’s only about 75 years old…he could pull it off!

  10. Tim Rattay. My eyes are bleeding.
