Who would you do?

Recently I wrote a post on PMZ about “The Wiggles”. In the comments I learned that Erin has a friend who would leave her husband for Captain Feathersword.

First of all, I’m pretty sure Captain Feathersword likes boys, but beyond that it got me thinking about characters in childrens programming. Is there anybody I would like if I was single? Is there someone I would leave Gabe for? The pickings are slim: Bob from Sesame Street? That creepy guy Sportacus from LazyTown? Steve from Blue’s Clues? Or would you go animated? Jimmy Neutron? A Koala Brother? Or do you go for they the blue collar claymation type like Bob the Builder?

I couldn’t come up with anybody. But I’m throwing it back to you guys. Anyone?

  1. I’ve been sitting here for 10 minutes thinking there MUST be SOMEONE.

    I got nothing.

If anyone got themselves a hot Daddy type-the mom marketing would go through the roof.

  2. You guys have to see Robbie Rotten without his makeup on from Lazytown. Those eyes! I used to say I would go with Greg from the Wiggles. Check Robbie out at http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1133284/ Also, Sportacus looks pretty good without the ishy moustache and hat. (I blogged about it a couple days ago – there’s photos)

  3. FYI, Captain Feathersword has passed away. He committed suicide.

  4. You are going to laugh, but I like Alan from Sesame Street (guy who runs Hooper’s Store). He isn’t really hot, but he has that nice guy syndrome.

Trish is totally right about Lazy Town though, I personally think Sportacus without the gay costume isn’t bad looking. Something about those Icelandic men!

  5. I recently discovered Lazytown over Christmas. My 2 1/2 year old nephew was at the airport in his Sporticus outfit, and we got to watch the DVD over and over. As far as getting it on with someone, I still have a thing for Speed Racer’s girlfriend Trixie.

  6. Anthony Wiggle is mine, baby.

  7. Daphne from Scooby Doo is smokin’hot. And a nasty girl. (warning, the link is a tinge risque and it is amazing what you can find through google with the right keywords.)

  8. a TINGE? yipes. If that’s a tinge risque, I’d hate to see what’s full on risque.

And Michelle? I like Alan too. I dig geeky guys.

  9. I don’t know…..
I always had a thing for Jimmy on HR Puff and Stuff.

  10. I posted on this on my blog awhile back. If it had to be a wiggle, I’d pick Anthony…I can’t stand the oohhhoooooing of Cfeathersword – and his name is slightly bothersome “if you know what I mean…” :)

  11. And what’s this about Capn Feathersword — FOR REAL?

  12. I’m not sure about the Captain Feathersword thing. I did a google search for articles.

I found no evidence of suicide, and this post in the past 2 months:

    http://www.smh.com.au/news/people/the-master-of-sword-play/2005/12/01/1133311137232.html?page=fullpage

If he committed suicide after this article, they are definitely keeping it quiet.

  13. So, my daughter is only 6 months old and, as a result, hasn’t really graduated into doable characters. There are, of course, those Baby Einstein hand puppet thingies but I honestly draw the line at puppets.

  14. This post has been removed by the author.

  15. It wasn’t Capt’n Feathersword, it was Chef Paul, otherwise known as Paul Hester, who committed suicide. He had a reoccuring role on the wiggles, and was most known for his role in the video for Fruit Salad.

  16. I’d have to do Jessica Rabbit. Sorry, but if she were here I’d do her. Get ink all over my winky and all, but it’d be worth it.
