For No Reason

A guy in my Spanish class in 10th grade told me this story:

Steve was in kindergarten (Steve was the one telling me the story, and he actually told it in first person, but I don’t want to confuse anyone here) and he had a crush on this girl. One day he asked her to be his girlfriend. She said no. So he hit her in the face with his lunch box.

The next day he asked her to be his girlfriend again. She said yes.

I love this story. Now even if you didn’t think that story was funny, here is something that ought to make you laugh. Here is a picture of me from the 10th grade with my ex-boyfriend covered up by a post it note.

  1. Sigh. So many memories. Thats the Sarah I know and love!!!

  2. You were in that class. Do you remember that story?

(Actually, Lori and I MET in 10th grade Spanish – Si!)

  3. Ahhh, high school. And? Guns and Roses, baby! 😉

  4. Wow. I think I had that same hair at times. And your boyfriend looks a lot like mine. (He’s got a Post-It on his face too.)

  5. Love that high school hair. I think I had similar hair in 10th grade. Spiral perms rocked!

  6. Now that’s some hi-tech photo editing :).

That’s the same year Jeromy fell in love with me because a) I liked Guns n Roses and b) I was a smart ass.

Who would have known those two qualities could sustain us this long?

  7. I don’t know how much GNR you still listen too, but I can attest that your smart ass goes a long way.

That might be why I ‘ve liked you this long too.

  8. Oh. My. God.

    That hair.

    THAT HAIR.

  9. I can relate. I once liked a boy because he told me he liked my sneakers.

  10. Can I say – Wow the hair! – without sounding like I’m jumping on the bandwagon? I’d also like to say you’ve got guts posting that. Digging the G’n’R shirt – please tell me you were wearing high top sneakers.

  11. High top sneakers are posiible, but more likely (blushing) some sort of black boots.

  12. SWEET.

    just, sweet.

  13. I don’t remember that story. I don’t think I even remember a Steve.

I do remember the hair, concert T-shirts, jeans and black boots though!!!

    GOOD TIMES!

  14. I’m glad I’m not single. Otherwise, I’d probably look pretty silly lugging a lunchbox around everywhere.

  15. I was so into that hairspray AQUANET!! LOL Man, the higher the hair the better!!
