I’m not ignorning you.

We lost power for about 23 hours. I’m pretty sure this is what happened.

The good news is: I learned what a microburst is.

The bad news is that I have to go get groceries because I don’t feel safe feeding the kids anything that was in our refrigerator. (Not to suggest that I would eat anything in there. You guys know I have a thing about accidentally eating food that had gone bad.)

So to recap, I was at the beach for five days without an internet connection and then i had no power at all, then I had lights, but no phone or internet service. Did I miss anything good?

  1. Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmm. I got on my soapbox yet again, Belinda fed the horses hay, Her Bad Mother got on her soapbox, Mocha used the N word, Lumpyhead’s Mom made a t-shirt, Becky is attempting to swear in Norwegian, Gidge and I both freaked out over the shuttle, Alison talked gay mariage, PB& J are in a Parade…

and I can’t think of anything else right now.

  2. i wish they would just call them tornados for not only simplicity sake but because “micro burst” does not in anyway shape or form sound the least bit impressive, even though it has the power to rip the roof off of your home
