We’re Back

The Goon Squad did a great job on the airplane. Both ways.

I know. I can’t believe it either.

On the way to Arkansas we used the car seats and on the way back we didn’t. They were fine either way. For me it was easier to fly without them just because it was two less things to carry around the airport, but the kids were good with out without them.

I found out why we had to take the car seats in the first place. (Parents, get ready to be angry) The Enterprise Rent-A-Car in the Little Rock airport does not have any car seats to rent.
I didn’t even think that was possible, but it was true. If you are bored, feel free to send them hate mail.

We had a great time. I didn’t get a picture of The Squad on the plane, but I did get a pictue of Ian driving a boat.

Captain Ian

There were more than 20 family members there, but as usual, I mostly just took pictures of my kids. To see my Arkansas pictures go here.

  1. Your inlaws are frighteningly young-looking. I’m serious. Unless they had Gabe when they were like, 14 (and even then, they still look damn good).

  2. Welcome back… good to know the Goon Squad did well on the plane.

You’ve reminded me of something, when we fly out to Oklahoma next month, while we won’t need car seats for the plane, we will need them for the rental car…

    Crap…

  11. So glad it went well! I’ve actually never tried to rent a car seat, but I’m glad to know that it’s not necessarily a given that they’ll be available when you rent a car.

  12. Ouch. I’m sitting here remembering traveling when my twins were young and now I’m feeling a sudden blinding pain behind my right eye and I’m noticing a slight twitch in my upper lip.

    Cute pics!!!
