I hope you used Ian and Claudia’s second day of preschool for a nice long nap.

And I just saw your great pics from yesterday. Definitely worth all 700 you took.

Wait. I’ve been under the impression that being in a book club WAS cool! Oh man, does this just justify how uncool I really am? Sigh.

I had book club last night, too. Sometimes it’s only 2 people but last night we had a lively group of 10. It helps when the book is shorter, we’ve learned.

  3. Suebob says:

Book club! Can I come? What are you reading?

  4. QofS says:

I have finished exactly 1 book since my second child was born. I don’t know how you have time to read.

Maybe I need to invest in that read online thing. Because I really, really, really miss books that don’t include the phrases “once up a time” “hop on pop” or “abc”

  5. Alison says:

QofS: Join a book club! It’s the only way I can ensure I’ll still read at least one grownup book a month.

  6. Becky says:

Pssst, Queen! Replace the Playboy with a book.

  7. Whit says:

Was it a pumpkin spice latte? Those are yummy. It could be worse, most of the parents in my neighborhood are up late because they’re on meth.

  8. I tried to start a book club at work before my son was born. We got through three books and then it fizzled out. Since he’s been born, I haven’t had time to read but just TODAY I bought Devil Wears Prada. We’ll see if I can stay up tonight to start reading it. Maybe I’ll have a Starbucks coffee….

  9. Lori says:

Is it possible to have a book club with online friends??!!
