I am not quite sure what is becoming of me.
Today is “special person day” at the kids preschool and each child was allowed to bring one special person. Claudia took her Daddy and Ian took his Nonny.
I am very excited because this means I get to be home all by myself for three hours.
The sad part is that I am really happy because I get to clean up and vacuum without
anybody crying about it, getting in my way or unfolding all of my clean laundry.
What happened to me? I used to be the biggest pig on the planet. Someday you should ask my mom about my dorm room freshman year.
In the meantime I’ll be vacuuming and smiling.
Maybe it’s the medication.

Vacuuming is the only household chore I really enjoy – it’s like therapy for me. Dish washing (due to the dishwasher having broken down and the new one not being hooked up yet) on the other hand is not. Will you come do my dishes when you’re done?

Remember your old car? The Saturn? The one I cleaned?
I like to think I influenced you. That’s what I’m going to tell everyone. You might as well just go with it.
Happy cleaning!

For the record, you are a “special” person, today and everyday.
As for the medication, it’s highly recommended.:o)

I used to blame you for the dorm room. My place is a mess. Could it be all my fault after all?????

It is what tedium does to stay-at-home Moms. The smallest of things become a pleasurable experience. Scary.

Vaccuuming AND smiling? That is just wrong.

You wanna come vaccuum my house next?

I hear you. With two daddy’s girls here, I often feel like the old shoe. But I have to admit – while they’re fawning over him it does allow me to take a nap.

I think this is the first time I’ve ever seen the words “vacuuming” and “smiling” in the same sentence.

Hi, I am new to your blog. But just had to say how much I hate doing laundry. As for all the other house cleaning, I love it. I really need to consider hiring a laundry maid.

OMG! I am the same way! I would rather clean when no one is here- goes much faster. I’m afraid we have turned into… (gulp)…grown ups!

I do like to vaccuum. I have been trying to find someone to hire who just does laundry. Doesn’t anyone do that anymore? The folding and the putting aware is utter torture. I would rather clean toilets. Seriously.
Enjoy your time!

I have NEVER seen or SMELLED anything worse than that dorm room – I am still scarred from that visit!
