Oh, I love Phillippa Gregory. I’ve read most of her books and especially love the Boleyn-era books.

We read that for my book club awhile back and everyone DEVOURED it. It’s going to be a movie…FYI. Can’t wait, but then the book was so good, the movie can’t be better than what I had going in my head.

Read her other stuff too, might as well completely ignore your family and whatnot.

  6. MMDesigns says:

OMGah!! That is a totally awesome book! I’ve read it twice – amazing each time.

Have you read the other Tudor books she’s written? The Queen’s Fool, The Constant Princess, The Virgin’s Lover???

    All are AMAZING!

  25. Lori says:

Oooh! I keep meaning to pick that up. Philippa Gregory has a wicked sense of humor, and I *love* books about Tudor England. Which reminds me… I’m way behind on The Tudors on Showtime (the OnDemand stopped working for a bit, and I lost track of it).

Have you read I, Elizabeth? Very, very good. Also The Autobiography of Henry VIII — long, but worth it.
