I was a fan; not obsessed like some of my friends, but a fan. It turns out it was just a phase for me--I haven't listened to her in years. Although, now I might go dig up some old albums and have a listen...for 'old times' sake. Oh, and the show was really quite amazing. She really is a great musician...just a little odd. It said something like "Some of the most interesting people I met are the ones that don't fit into boxes", which I think is one of the dumbest things I ever heard attributed to anyone. It was meant to be inspirational and promote tolerance I think, but if she really said this, has she ever thought about what might happen if she stopped stereotyping people?
