I caught that stupid cold that is going around.
I should be on my way to a baby shower for my friend Vicky but instead I am sitting in front of my computer with a box of tissues because my nose won’t stop running.
Normally a cold wouldn’t stop me from going to a party but I hate to breathe germs on pregnant people. It doesn’t seem fair to get a person sick when they aren’t allowed to take cold medicine.
And also that whole getting the baby sick thing. I’d hate to be responsible for that.
Happy shower, Vicky. I’m sorry I can’t be there.

When I have a cold, I try to cure with a beer and a shot of whiskey. I don’t know if it works, but I feel a whole lot better.

I’m sorry your sick and kudos to you for keeping your germs home. We just got over a month long plague due to someone who decided to bring their sick kids in public and cough all over my kids. Hope you feel better soon!
