Has anybody else ever noticed that California Love by 2Pac and Dr. Dre and Mouth For War by Pantera have the same riff just at different tempos and played on different instruments? Gabe pointed this out to me about two weeks ago it has been on my mind ever since.
Speaking of music, can you please recommend some new bands that I might like?
I think The Tampa Bay Rays going to the World Series may be a sign of the Apocalypse.
Did you know that Charles Woodson had his own wine label?
Will somebody go with me to see Twilight? I’m afraid if I ask Gabe he will never stop laughing at me.

I simply think the Rays don’t have a modicum of compassion for the elderly. My grandpa (92) has to put away his favorite Red Sox cap far too early. Sadly, he switched out for a Cowboys hat. Eeecchhh.
I’d go to Twilight with you except I’d have to road-trip to see it with you — which might just make MY husband expire from excessive laughter.

Bands, eh? Um, this is a local Arizona band that I fell in love with about 4 years ago: The Format(http://www.theformat.com/).
Their best album is ‘Interventions & Lullabyes’.

Correction..if the Cubs had made the World Series it would have been a sign of the Apocalypse. This is coming from a Cubs fan.

I would so go to Twilight with you, as long as you promised to see “W” with me. Don’t let the fact that we live thousands of miles apart detract you.

I haven’t read Twilight yet, but if I saw the movie first would it ruin it?
If not I could go with you.

I’m so in for Twilight. There’s about a zero percent chance that my husband will go with me.

They are not new but Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers is one of my favorites. Also Kings of Leon.

I have never noticed that about those songs, and would like some conclusive evidence, as in a sped up-version of California Love and a slowed down version of Mouth for War (which has more than one riff, so please be more specific). Thank you.

Well, I don’t know about the Apocalypse, but it is a sign that many here in New England will be getting a bit more sleep.

Hey there – You are welcome to go see Twilight with us. There will be a large group of ladies where I work going – you would have to make the trip to Florida –
The Rays have been keeping me up nights! It is crazy here with all the Rays Craze!

I know I made fun of you and stuff, but I started reading Twilight and I now am so obsessed with the books.
I am truly embarassed. I can’t wait to see the movie, and every time Dan sees me watching the trailer online, he makes fun of me. So I’m in.

I will go with you! I CANNOT WAIT FOR THAT MOVIE!
