Everything Was Blurry

This morning everything was blurry.eyechart-idiot1

I was beginning to feel nauseous.

On a whim I went into my bathroom, took out my contacts and then put the contact that was formerly in my right eye into my left eye and the one that had been in my left eye and put that one into my right eye.

Now all is clear.

I am an idiot.

  1. Don’t feel bad, I’ve done it too. :)

  2. Gives new meaning to the phrase “crossed eyes.”

  3. I think everyone who has worn contacts must have done that at least once. I know it happened to me MORE than once over the years. (Not anymore, though! Yay for laser eye surgery!)

  4. That is only part of the reason I am happy to still be wearing glasses.

The other part has to do with my finger not coming toward my eye with glasses.

  5. That was too funny… I love ur site.

  6. That’s hilarious! Go you!

  7. I’ve done that before. It creates bad headaches too.

  8. Not an idiot…just off by a few inches:-)

  9. Heck! I’ve put both of them in the same eye before! Now that’s pretty stoopid!!

  10. I so don’t miss it, Lasik is really the best money I ever spent. I just wish I’d gotten it done before I had kids.

  11. But you figured it out sooner rather than later, right? Right?

  12. Mama Maven, be glad you waited. I had my last two after successful lasik. Then things started going all blurry and when I called to ask what happened, the doctor’s office told me that the change in hormones and water weight could have changed things.

And I’ve done the whole wrong contact thing more than once. So glad I’m not the only one.

  13. cool eyechart maker!!
