  1. Yes. So does folding laundry, unloading the dishwasher, and bathing toddlers.

  2. Absolutely. Bake some for me; I went to earlier and found the big guy had used the last of the eggs yesterday. Grrr.

  3. Absolutely. And I plan on putting that one to good use tomorrow when we get another gagillion inches of snow and I’m stuck inside with the kids. Who wants some more sugar?!?!?!

  4. I like the way you think.

  5. Totally.

  6. Of course. If you are over 250lbs and the last time you worked out was when Geraldine Ferraro was running, shoveling is the whole Olympics.

  7. If you mix by hand, there is calorie-burning in that too I think!

  8. As if baking cookies NEEDS justification ;)

  9. Right

  10. Absolutely!! AND strength training depending on how heavy vs. fluffy your snow is. ;)

  11. Gadget Girl says:

I think chewing may even count as cardio.

  12. Absolutely!

  13. How much snow are we talking about? Anything under 3″ doesn’t count.

  14. YES! IT COUNTS! As does scraping my windshield- front AND back!

  15. No doubt about it. However, I should be down 5 lbs or so with all the shoveling I’ve been doing. Hhhmmm…maybe it was that cookie cake.
