You deserve an award for balancing your work/life priorities and not going to see the award show about balancing your work/life priorities.
I really understand those feelings. That is why I look forward to summer so much, a few weeks to be less of a crazy person.
“And when my husband gets home from work I will play with him” is how I expected that line to go.

You know, it takes more guts to say “I can’t do it all” then to take on everything and lose yourself. Good for you in recognizing this and working to restore the balance.

btw, the older I get, the more I think that the only people who don’t worry about balancing work and life are the ones who have a penis…..
