The Devil You Know

I don’t know how this happened.

I was trying to get that Miley Cyrus song – Party in the U.S.A. out of my head.

And I accidentally got this one stuck in there instead.

Be careful what you wish for. Better the party you know…

(So yummy, so yummy.)

  1. You really do need some new music. Seriously. And no I’m not clicking on either of those.

  2. lol! I’ve had that damn Yo Gabba Gabba song in my head more than once…I’m not sure if either of those is any better than having this earworm- currently in my head for the third day…

  3. If I gt something crappy stuck in my head (Miley Cyrus? I’m so sorry) I just start singing the Hockey Song by Stompin Tom (or Corb Lund, whichever you prefer)
and anything else just kind of…fades away…

Plus, I get to feel uber Canadian. It’s like our unofficial national anthem.

  4. Dang it SARAH!!!!!!!!!!

I’d finally gotten that Miley song out of my head. Now even seeing the words of the song title and I’m singing it.

Am not even clicking on that other song. Nope. Not gonna do it. Time to bring in the big guns. Michael Franti. Black Eyed Peas. Something catch and annoying, yet not horrible.

  5. OMG, we have to use that damn Yo Gabba Gabba song to get my daughter to finish her dinner, since, you know, the nuggets want to join the tater tots for the party.

  6. Damn you, Sarah 😉

  7. smart aleck says:

That plate looked like the diet I have been on, and let me tell you, they lie. That is no party–vegetables are the food equivalent of calling the cops.

A party in my tummy is a great steak (cooked medium), sauteed mushrooms, and a margarita, followed by raspberry cheesecake, creme brulee, or a brownie a la mode.

  8. That’s one of the worst things about parenting. . THE SONGS. Seriously, sometimes I’ll wake up at 4am with the god damn HELLO song in my head. It’s cruel.

  9. –>I heard the Yo Gabba Gabba song yesterday and it really IS hard to get out of your head. So yummy. So yummy.
