Hi, I am Sarah.

I live in the Washington DC Metro Area with my husband, nine year old boy/girl twins (aka The Goon Squad) and two loud cats.

I was born in Ohio, I grew up in Tampa, went to college in Orlando and have been living in the D.C. suburbs since 2005.

Sarah and the Goon Squad is my internet home but you can also find me writing at Draft Day Suit, SNAFU Music, MamaPop, and Sarah Reviews Stuff Here. I even have a tumblr blog, Hot Metal Street.

I do a lot of public speaking and if I look familiar it might be because I have been on panels at BlogHer, Mom 2.0, Blogs With Balls, The DC Social Media Club, Type-A Mom, BlogHer D.C. and Pittsburgh PodCamp.

I like football, beer, Top Chef, music, food, fantasy sports, singing, live sporting events and when people pay me money to write things on the internet. In my spare time I am on the Board of Directors for Choralis and I sing in a band.
