“Lullaby”

I know last month I went off about how great the book Fight Club was and how Chuck Palahniuk (which I am incapable of spelling without looking up, and I still can’t pronounce it) was wonderful and all that, but I just finished Lullaby. I would tell you what it was about, but then I don’t think you would want to read it. It is better to go into his work without any ideas about what you are about to read.

Now I heart Chuck even more. I’m going to rush out to the store and buy all the rest of his novels (the fiction, anyway).

Palahnuik’s stories aren’t pretty or nice, but they are really well written. His books all have a great sense of humor. – Not the romantic comedy sense of humor, but the kind you feel kind of guilty for thinking that it is funny.

Okay, I’ll stop peer pressuring you about reading Chuck Palahniuk books, but only until I finish the next one.

  1. I have a feeling I would hate his stuff…but want to continue reading it…and then I’d hate it even more for making me want to read more. That’s the vibe I’m getting.

then don’t read it. if you can’t stand the heat etc.

Now that you’ve read the book, you can read the comic book.

Also, have you tried reading “Guts“? I can’t make it through to the end.

    I haven’t tried “Guts” yet.
