Could I be any Less Mature?

The Goon Squad and I are watching “Blue’s Clues”. It is an episode about planets and Steve keeps saying “Uranus spins on it’s side” and I can’t stop giggling.

It also makes me feel a little bit squirmy.

I have the maturity of a 12 year old boy. Aren’t you glad you waste your time reading my blog?

  1. ROFL. We had a CD with some of the popular Nick Tunes songs from a few years ago (many of those shows aren’t even on the air anymore, but I digress). That Blues Clues song was on that disk, and I, too, would get a fit of giggles listening to it in the car.

  2. Same response here, from both of us.

  3. LOL

Hey you gotta entertain yourself *somehow.* LOL

    I do the same thing.

  4. LOL. Same over here. And thank God it’s the old Blue’s Clues with Steve and not that half-wit Joe.

  5. Ha! I want to know how Steve got through it with a straight face.

  6. I know that episode! And the fit of giggles it inspires in my entire family. Because we’re immature too.

I should tell you about the awesome Tecate-created burp I emitted last night. My husband was in awe.

  7. I once giggled through an entire episode of Sesame Street because Telly had “lost his urge to boing.” I hate when that happens!

  8. Please, I can’t hear the name of that planet without giggling. Didn’t occur to anyone that it might not be the best name?

  9. I’m so glad I’m not the only one. I’ve been giggling at that all weekend!

  10. LOL! That planet name is just wrong :)

  11. That song also makes me laugh. We are teaching the planets right now, I can’t wait to get to uranus. I also laugh just as much when it pronounced urine-us.

  12. It’s the best waste of my time, ever. ;)

  13. Your maturity level beats mine by two years. Which makes you my idol. Scary huh?

  14. GAH! It’s STUCK…..IN MY HEAD. Thanks, Sarah.

The worst is the Joe/Blue potty song. “Sit down on the potty and see what we can do do doooo!”

  15. Uranus always makes me giggle. And I mean that in the best possible way, Sarah.

  16. I don’t know, I think that’s a pretty funny line. Uranus is always funny! Har.

  17. Ha! I’m so glad you said that…The first time I saw that episode, I fell on the floor laughing so hard. SF had no clue why..>So of course I had to tell her…Now we b oth sing it together…I’m such a bad mother. But hey, it’s more fun to laugh with a friend right.

  18. I would so laugh at that too. LOL How come I haven’t seen that one yet? *pouts*

  19. I’m VERY glad I “waste” my time here. That was hilarious.

  20. And this kind of post is EXACTLY why I enjoy reading your blog!

  21. Now I don’t feel so bad for doing the same damn thing (giggling) whenever that episode of Blue’s is on. :)
We have hours of fun afterwards with the little guy running around singing “My Anus spins on it’sssssss sideeeeeeeee”.
