Ian: Aunt K.C. said we could be in her wedding.
Me: Really? Cool. I hadn’t talked to her about that yet.
Claudia: I wonder what we will get to be? I hope it is like Corbi’s wedding. I can be the flower girl.
Ian: And I can be the ring master!
Me: I don’t think it is going to be that kind of wedding.
*silence*

I swear, they never get my jokes.

I guess it is closer than a ring bear.

Same thing my then 5 yo nephew thought at my cousin’s wedding. My aunt sent some outfits she wanted him to try on and he was disappointed. He was expecting a bear costume.

That’s too funny, and would be a hit with the lions and tigers and bears – I won’t do it. He’s going to have to work on that ringmaster voice though, I imagine.

I hope it is a ring master, that’s way better than a ring bear!

I’ve been to a few weddings that could have used a ring master.

I’d love to go to a circus wedding.
My university students don’t get my jokes, so I don’t think it gets any better…
